This is Cattera's newest cria, Catallegre.  He is very upright, with straight legs, huge ears, and silky fiber- all qualities that will make him a winner in the show ring and the breeding pasture.  He has great bone structure and tons of presence.  This little guy may be the straightest cria we've had born on the farm yet, and that is really saying something.  He is for sale with or without his dam. 

    Catallegre has great bloodlines.  His sire, Randallama's Cherokee, has placed very well in halter, with his ALSA ROM and Grand and Reserve Champion titles.  His offspring have won several Grand Champion awards in halter, fleece, and performance. Catallegre's dam, SHAG Cattera, is one of the best producing females on our farm, and that is no small feat.  All of her crias have great conformation, soft fiber, huge ears, and sweet personalities.  With these two wonderful llamas as parents, there is no doubt that Catallegre will make the perfect show and breeding male!

    Catallegre has inherited his dam's wonderful personality.  He is extremely easy to handle, and loves to give kisses.  He is friendly, but always respectful.  Catallegre completed his halter training with flying colors.  He is a natural on the obstacle course, and seems to have no fear of anything!

    Catallegre also has the wonderful fiber that all his half siblings share.  His fleece is very fine with wonderful lock structure.  All of his siblings are shorn and walking fleece winners, and there is no doubt that Catallegre will be too!

    Catallegre made his show debut at the Kentuckiana Show, and placed 1st and 3rd in a very large and competitive halter class!  We knew he was destined for greatness, and he sure confirmed that!  If he sticks around, he will be shown throughout the summer as well, in halter, fiber, and performance.

    Catallegre is now weaned, just in time for the show season!  This little guy has a lot of potential in the show ring, for halter, fleece, AND performance classes!  He has already proven that he can win in the show ring- you just need to decide if you want to be on the other end of the lead rope when he does!
