Autumn Hill's Catastrophie

DOB:  9/27/05

Randallama's Cherokee x SHAG Cattera

ILR Registered

Dam to: Autumn Hill's McKinley

Bred back to MRLF Ridge Runner - Due Fall 2009 (this cria will be a full sibling to McKinley)

Autumn Hill's Catastrophie was definitely not a disaster.  She is the first appy we've ever had born on our farm, and Cattera went all out on her.  She's almost calico, with black, brown, red, and gray spots all on a white background.  Catastrophie is one gorgeous girl.

Catastrophie is an amazing female.  She's got her parents' size- huge.  She was 31 pounds and 6 days early.  She has gained over a pound a day, and grown into an enormous llama.  She stands 6-7' tall at the poll!  She has wonderful conformation, huge banana ears, silky and colorful fiber, and the sweetest personality imaginable.  She was a great show llama, but is now being retired from the ring to produce show winners of her own!

Catastrophie's first cria, Autumn Hill's McKinley, has arrived, and he is fabulous!  Up and nursing right away, and Taz is being a great mom.  It's going to be fun watching this one grow up!  The picture on the right was taken just hours after his birth.

We liked McKinley so much that we have decided to breed Taz back to MRLF Ridge Runner for a Fall 2009 cria.

Catastrophie has great bloodlines.  Her sire, Randallama's Cherokee, has placed very well in halter, with his ALSA ROM and Grand and Reserve Champion titles.  His offspring have won several Grand Champion awards in halter, fleece, and performance. Catastrophie's dam, SHAG Cattera, is one of the best producing females on our farm, and that is no small feat.  All of her crias have great conformation, soft fiber, huge ears, and sweet personalities.

Catastrophie was shown in 2006 and 2007 ALSA shows.  All of her siblings have placed high in performance and halter, and she followed in their footsteps!  She is now retired from the show ring.

Catastrophie also has unbelievable fiber.  It is very soft and silky, and contains every color imaginable.  Her micron test came back, measuring at a low 26 microns!  Her fleece has won numerous walking and full fiber classes, including 3rd at Nationals!
