MRLF Ridge Runner x Autumn Hill's Catastrophie

ILR Registered

Show & Breeding Quality Male

SOLD!

This guy is a first for both of his parents...and what a way for them to start their breeding careers!  He is named after Mt. McKinley in Alaska, the highest mountain in the US.

McKinley is a stunning dilute reverse appaloosa. He has correct conformation, nice stretch to his neck, fine silky fiber, and huge ears! Not to mention a friendly personality and fabulous colors! This guy is going to make a wonderful show llama and future herdsire, but would also make a great pet for a loving family.  He is unbelievably trusting, and would make a perfect performance llama!

His dam, Catastrophie, is a gorgeous appy that is almost perfect in every way.  Stick-straight conformation, fine silky fiber, outrageous color, ears that almost touch, and an unbelievably sweet personality.  His sire, Ridge, is just as nice.  He took the show ring by storm, and easily won his ROM in 7 months, and his Halter Champion in just 11 months.  Ridge's fiber is almost suri: locked to the skin and extremely fine (23 microns as an adult- finer than most alpacas).  Ridge has nice thick bone and a pleasing personality.

Like all of our crias, McKinley has already started his halter training, and is doing very well.  He has started obstacle training and is amazing!  He was made for the performance ring!  McKinley has found a new home with Brittany Gibson of southern Indiana, and will be leaving the farm in spring 2009.  Be sure to watch for the two of them in the show ring!
