Moreo is the fourth addition to our fiber alpaca herd. Born and raised in Cleveland, OH at Sirius Alpacas, this little boy fits right in and rounds out our herd. He was 4-H trained and shown in 2007 before we purchased him. He was unfortunately attacked by a couple of roaming dogs this past fall, and ended up with several nasty bites. But Moreo is a fighter, and has bounced back quite well, even if he did look a little funny with two shaved legs! Moreo made his performance debut at the 2008 Ohio State Fair. He didn't place, but gave it a very good try. He performed much better than I had expected! He also won his halter class at the Indiana State Fair. |
